Personal Training
The greatest satisfaction I experience in training people, is sharing the knowledge that I have gained as a fitness trainer, and assisting clients in attaining their goals. Over the years I have trained individuals from all walks of life, each of them with different needs and objectives.
When prospective clients ask me to define my training philosophy, I tell them I apply a holistic mindset as a means of achieving their fitness goals. I do that by including a variety of training methods such as: bodybuilding training, circuit training, conditioning/cross training, core training, interval training, plyometric training and strength training. For each method of training I incorporate one or more of the following training tools: free weights, machines, kettlebells, rings, elastic bands, boxes, a variety of balls and the trainee’s own bodyweight.
In addition, there are other elements of training that I focus on when training my clients. One of them is body form while performing an exercise. The stricter the form, the more effective the exercise is going to be. Additionally, an exact form will reduce chances of an injury significantly, particularly when an individual engages in strenuous or challenging exercises. Another important element of training is breathing. Breathing correctly will increase the efficacy of an exercise, and decrease the likelihood of an injury.
Overall, people choose to workout with me for a variety of reasons.
- Some people are new to fitness, and they want to be taught one or more styles of training and the proper technique that accompany each method.
- Other people have worked out before, but they never really learned how to properly exercise. Moreover, they did not have the motivation or knowledge needed to maintain their fitness lifestyle.
- Other people want to improve their strength, endurance and speed so they can apply it to sports such as Golf, Martial Arts, Basketball, Tennis and many other sports.
- There are people that started training with me after they had hip replacement surgery, knee surgery, heart surgery and, or other ailments.
- Many people want to workout to lower their body fat level, tone up the muscles and boost energy levels. As a result, they will live a better, stronger and more fulfilling life.
